Can I set up recurring invoices?
If you have recurring transactions, you can set up BILL to invoice customers automatically on a preset schedule. You can set up the recurring invoice once and forget it.
Does BILL support direct debit?
Yes! Setting up recurring direct debit from your customer’s bank account (with your customer’s consent) ensures you get paid on time, every time. Transactions are done through ACH, which means you will be paid faster than standard paper-based checks you receive in the mail.
What invoice statuses can I track using BILL?
With BILL you can track when you sent the invoice to your customer, when that invoice is accepted and approved, and when your payment will be deposited.
Why should I add a bank account to my BILL receivables account?
Adding your bank account to a subscription-free Basic Receivables account in BILL allows us to send you your customer’s payment via Automated Clearing House (ACH), which is like a direct deposit. You won't have to wait for a check, or worry about a payment getting lost in the mail. Plus, you'll be able to track a customer’s payment from the time it's issued until the time it's deposited into your bank account.
Does BILL sync with my other accounting software?
One of the best features about BILL is the seamless integration with leading accounting software: QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, and Sage Intacct. BILL syncs with your accounting software, and changes made in either BILL or your accounting software will automatically be reflected in the other system.
How can I see my incoming payment status?
BILL makes it easy for you to monitor your incoming payments, allowing you to check the status so you’ll know when to expect payments from your customers.

We send you an email notification when a payment is on the way, so if you haven't gotten that notification, you should reach out to your customer/payer to make sure they've scheduled a payment.
